@CliveDavisUK Mine was Tommy Steele “Singin’ The Blues” (& I quite liked the version by Guy Mitchel too). No excuses except I was only 9 - and l’ve not offended since.
The way we create simplistic conceptual ‘maps’ of other people and their vast complexities is always incredibly reductive. It’s a great self practice to (a) become aware of our mapping instinct and (b) to try and stop doing reducing other human beings to our simplistic (sometimes righteous) notions of them.
