tell me why it's my third session with this therapist and, randomly, for the first time, she brought up my relationship to god and then launched into this thing about christian counseling....????? gotta research these people more .... . . .. ...
not judging, believe what u want idc just don't force it onto other ppl... especially in an incredibly deep talk about some traumatic shit.
@Clayster If you're at a point in life where you're seeing a therapist, it might be time to listen to her message.
@Clayster That’s wild and I’m sorry you had to go through that. Religion should only be brought up in therapy if you take the conversation there… not the other way around.
@Clayster I'd just explain how you feel about what she did, and if she's pushy about it then consider dropping her. Reason being she most likely only brought it up because it's made a difference in her life and she thought it could help you too
@Clayster hmu if you need help with choosing a proper practice. That’s horrible. I had a therapist try to convince me there was a “new world order” taking over. Some people shouldn’t have a license. My current therapist is by the book and is super professional.
@Clayster Wait, a therapist counseling or recommending about a certain religion based on your relationship with god?? I’m smokin a blunt right now so idk if what I’m reading is true
@Clayster Why does this remind me of the Deep trying to be recruited in The Boys lmao
