My position on all NFL lawsuits alleging discrimination is the only thing the NFL cares about is winning. The. Only. Thing. The NFL copies what wins. It’s why the Bill Belichick and Sean McVay assistants all get hired. Tony Dungy helped get five black head coaches hired.
Mike Tomlin is the most successful black head coach by far and the only head coach to come off his staff is Bruce Arians. Has Tomlin ever had a minority coordinator with the Steelers? If he has, there haven’t been many.
@ClayTravis Big picture- how long has Flores had this in the works? Since the day the Dolphins canned him? Before they hired him? Would this be happening had the Giants hired him? For Flores, this is his Kaepernick moment. He‘ll now be marketed as a martyr. Book/Netflix deals next.
@ClayTravis In his lawsuit he proclaims to have morals and convictions so why wasn’t he a whistleblower in 2020? For the allegations against the Dolphins. So now 2 years later these a the causes of his firing. Something don’t smell right
@ClayTravis Clarity: owner asked him to lose in 2019 for cash, but he didn’t report until 2022?
@ClayTravis Why doesn't somebody just ask Bill Belichick who he got that from. Might clear up a few questions
@ClayTravis Hard to sell the NFL is racist when just last week Ryan Poles and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah were hired as General Managers of the Bears and Vikings.
@ClayTravis Nope. $$$ talks. Winning is second. Always. Hence the 100k/game loss bribe.
@ClayTravis Two black coaches in the history of the NFL with over a 60% win Pct. To Clays point they only care about winning!! Want to coach prove you can win some games.
@ClayTravis I’m less “concerned” by claims of discrimination and more by an owner paying a coach to tank games. Impacts draft position, gambling, careers. THAT is a big deal and I wouldn’t be surprised if Fins lose picks and Ross either is suspended or worse…
