In London for a few days. I always used to see some theatre when im here, but now I genuinely can’t afford it. For an actor, that’s a bit shit isn’t it? Where will future generations get their inspiration?
@ClaireEStorey Hi @ClaireEStorey- Monday £12 is still on @royalcourt if you're around then. The @TKTSLondon in Leicester Square nowhere near as good as it used to be - but still some brilliant bargains to be had. Standing ticket @choirofman best value & especially so, if you grab a free beer!
@ClaireEStorey The National Theatre have rush hour tickets every Friday from 1pm, go onto their website you are put in a queue for £10 tickets. We’ve recently seen Nye and Standing at The Sky’s Edge for £10 each!
@ClaireEStorey Maybe try some theatre slightly off the beaten track
@ClaireEStorey Yep... Totally agree... Sad times ❤️🎭❤️😞 xx
@ClaireEStorey Marylebone theatre, jermyn st, southwark, et al
@ClaireEStorey @jwt_performer It is really between a rock and a hard place, productions need to make money to pay actors and crew, but also need to be affordable for people when there are so many other expenses in life especially with the cost of living crisis
@ClaireEStorey My sons were able to go to barely a tenth of the number of performances I enjoyed in my teens - because of this.
@ClaireEStorey I believe Shakespeare's Globe do £5/£10 standing tickets... they call them Groundlings 🙂
