@ChrisGreenwayUK @BBCentury Is today the last day and they just don't wake tomorrow? I would hope on the last day they could startup as they used to in the early days of BBC Radio 4UK listing medium wave transmitters and frequencies, and the R4UK theme.
@ChrisGreenwayUK @thetvroom Staying on MW is Radio 5Live, Radios Scotland, Wales; Local BBC stations, Norfolk,Jersey,Derby,Guernsey, Gloucester,Somerset; Asian Network Birmingham. Also closing MW this Month: Smooth in Kent and Hants, leaving N. Wales as the last Also closing, the last Gold MW in Manchester.
@ChrisGreenwayUK @thetvroom Medium wave isn’t as popular in the US, what about FM? Or is a constellation of networks for Radio 4 too expensive?
