@PranavSriraman I mean the Grizzlies also basically burnt the bridge with him to where it'd be really awkward and difficult to have him come back and play. Just a super dumb thing to do theres no reason for teams to offer anything for him, they've done that multiple times too

@kero_kero_z @KudosOnYT Just get rid of the ability to use it to see if there's defenders in the area generally and only have precise mode. 4 times a round you can pull it out and it will tell you if there is players and if there is you get the dots, but once you put it away you can only use it 3 times

@BaseballWRLD_ @Bshepp87 I mean strikeouts are better but its more nuanced than that A pitcher running a 9 K/9 with a 60% groundball rate is better than a pitcher running a 10 k/9 with a 40% ground ball rate

@mike_petriello This feels a bit crazy imo. Understand this is to show how good the top NL SPs have been, but to me Sanchez is very far clear of the rest. IP reigns king for cy young imo , and not only does he have the most, he has it by 15 and 25 over his main competition respectively

@smatregranoWPRI @JeffPassan I mean id get this argument if Sanchez was giving up a ton of hard contact and just getting lucky, but he gave up 21 singles and 4 doubles for his 25 hits. A pitchers job is to prevent runs, obviously 1 run isnt a lot but when the race is close then thats what you have to go off

@smatregranoWPRI @JeffPassan not indicative of him being a worse pitcher, and it shows in the fact that he consistently has a low 3 or low 2 ERA. Not to mention that the most important pitcher stat is innings pitched, and Sanchez has more (albeit a small margin)

@smatregranoWPRI @JeffPassan not like Sanchez is some one off lucky pitcher whos having good luck with his defense. Pitchers can control the type of contact they give up, and Sanchez combines having an elite groundball rate with a high K% and an extremely low BB%. Him giving up more hits is purely stylistic

@PaulTweetsRIP They still likely have the worst starting linebackers in the league, so thats definitely an issue, but the rest of the defense looks very good. I dont expect them to be a top 10 unit but they should be very solid

@PaulTweetsRIP And added an elite defensive tackle when the biggest problem on the defense for years has been their lack of an interior pass rush. All that on top of the fact that Trey Hendrickson barely played last year, so him to Dex is an even bigger leap

@RedbirdRiot Someone whos gonna put up a 95 OPS+ with 20+ homeruns and great defense is not a bad thing to have towards the bottom half of your lineup. You dont have to think he's a future star to say he has value to the roster currently
