Heads up northwest side cyclists – construction is underway on new protected bike lanes from Belmont to Addison, connecting to the existing protected lanes north of Addison. This is one of several projects improving Milwaukee Ave & part of an exciting 2025 for Complete Streets!

At today's committee meeting, @AldMattMartin's ordinance allowing for vehicle owners to get traffic tickets accrued while their vehicle was stolen waived was passed unanimously. Thanks for your leadership on this, Alderman Martin!

We’re pleased to report that recently CDOT updated its rules and regulations for scooters operating in the City of Chicago! These changes will allow for this convenient form of micro-transit while adding regulations to keep sidewalks and streets clear and accessible to pwd. 1/
🚧Starting April 28, CDOT will begin emergency repair work on the State Street Bridge, which will require its full closure to vehicular and pedestrian traffic through Fall 2025. Project details and detour info here: chicago.gov/city/en/depts/…
