Next month is the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. But Basem Boshra is forcing all CBC staff to call them "hijackings that led to passenger jet crashes", not "terrorist attacks". Boshra is the CBC's "Senior Director of Journalistic Standards and Public Trust".

The Hamilton Police are asking the public to assist them in shutting down a peaceful and completely legal gathering organized by the Dominion Society of Canada. Neither the Dominion Society, nor its leadership, have been accused of any crime or wrongdoing. This police organization is now apparently calling up local small business owners that operate venues in Hamilton and urging them to not host the Dominion Society Conference. Disagree with Dominion Society all you want. But they have a right like everyone else in Canada to gather peacefully and engage in political discourse. This is just ridiculous.
