The biggest fallacy in dynasty is that a “pick is worth the most when it’s on the clock.”
@CharlesChillFFB Picks are worth more just before the draft
@CharlesChillFFB Worth the most right after the draft if the right player goes to your opponents team and the pick is in the right range... Easy 😂
@CharlesChillFFB Correct, a draft pick is often times at its most valuable the days before the draft. It’s actually the post combine/pre-draft window where the hype is highest and no value has been lost due to landing spots. Always trade your draft picks on tax day.
@CharlesChillFFB It depends on the pick and the players available. Sometimes it is worth most when it’s on the clock and sometimes it isn’t.
@CharlesChillFFB Peak value is right now and during the combine IMO.
@CharlesChillFFB I disagree. The adrenaline takes over and deals are made. I’m talking real life not fantasy.
@CharlesChillFFB It’s a crutch argument and completely relative. It is just as likely to hold more value as it is less, depending on the demand of remaining players by your league mates relative to your demand for those same players.
@CharlesChillFFB The value of a pick is always dependent on what pick it is and the aggressiveness of your fellow league members. I don’t believe there is ever a one size fits all answer to any question in #fantasyfootball
@CharlesChillFFB I'm not sure when it would be MORE valuable when someone sees a name OTC that they definitely want.
