this feels like the 37th time that Salvador Pérez has left a game with a serious-looking injury only to somehow come back less than a week later and immediately smash a monster homer as if nothing ever happened just an absolute beast, he's so great

@CespedesBBQ Yep, he is built like they used to build em. Prob still a bit sore but his desire to play is unmatched. Seems like others love the time off anymore and stretch it as far as they can.
@CespedesBBQ That’s what future Hall of Famers do.
@CespedesBBQ HOF for sure. More world series appearances and 101 more dongs than Joe Mauer
@CespedesBBQ Is Salvy like 60 years old at this point? I don't recall a time in my life he wasn't playing baseball
@CespedesBBQ Built like a tank. An especially slow but powerful one.
@CespedesBBQ I think I count 38 or maybe 43? A broken record
@CespedesBBQ When he was in rookie ball I worked for the team and his English was better than my Spanish, but not by much. We mostly communicated through smiles and head nods and he is to this day one of the nicest players I ever met in MiLB.
@CespedesBBQ @ConradMcGorkin When the Royals had the greatest farm system ever back in 2012, Perez wasn't even a top prospect. Who knew with that loaded system that they'd virtually all be underachieving and Perez would be the guy.
@CespedesBBQ 🤣🤣 "Stop saying welcome back!!" Haha I love him
