William Wragg resigns four days after Jeremy Hunt said his apology was “courageous”. Who’s got the worse judgment… or was this the plan all along?
@CarverEmily It wasn't the plan. This is all Wragg's manipulation. Now, stories and complaints about his behaviour are breaking. He has no plans of coming out of that bunker. The guy is an utter creep.
So many Christians have shown unkindness to Wragg. He is clearly troubled and has ruined his career, reputation, life. He faces a police inquiry and will be embarrassed forever. The party has a duty of care for MPs. They have allowed him to resign as they don’t want to push him over the edge.
@CarverEmily I think he’s decided to jump after being advised that he will be pushed.
@CarverEmily Willy's team are reacting to daily disclosures; they don't have a plan. The Wraggate house of cards is about to collapse, unless the Rayner story dries up and full disclosure is made before 'Day 9'. 'Charlie' could be outed within days, so Hunt's judgement has been atrocious!
@CarverEmily "We have every confidence that our manager will help the team through it's current problems and secure a place in the Premiership next year...."
@CarverEmily The hole they’ve dug for themselves keeps getting bigger.
@CarverEmily I reckon it was the plan all along. Wragg got Sunak the goods needed to depose Johnson and now the favour is returned. Sunak probably told him that he'd have to go but at a time of his choosing within the next week and without having the whip taken from him.
