Had a knock on the our shack door, there was a senior lady easily in her late 70s she had come to tell me what my boys (8 and 10 yrs old) had done. I shouldn’t be surprised that they seen someone in distress and went to help with out hesitation. The dear lady had gotten her car and little yacht trailer bogged on the beach trying to launch her yacht and she had been stranded for a few hours. She explained to me that sailing is what makes her feel close to her husband since his passing hence why she continued to do so at such an elderly age. Bless her 🕊 My boys dug her out with the shovel she had been using and got a car from the road to come down to the beach and tow her out and of course my eldest had to hitch the tow rope and guide in the other vehicle to secure to the car to be pulled out of the bog.
