At today's rates, borrowing USDrf through Liqwid costs around 5-6% APR. That gives you a Cardano-native route to leveraged ADA exposure as an alternative to perps. For comparison, a similar leveraged ADA exposure on Hyperliquid would cost you 10.95% APR in funding rate.

Atomic Swaps are live on mainnet. A USDCx → sUSDrf swap has already been routed through two V4 pools, starting with RealFi’s Linear USDCx/USDrf pool. Multi-pool routing, one transaction, atomic settlement. Another step forward for DeFi on Cardano.
Every hop succeeds, or none do. Users set what they want to swap and the minimum amount they’ll accept. V4’s router executes the route as one transaction, so there are no partial fills, no stranded intermediate tokens, and no exposure between separate transactions. That’s a real cost of multi-hop trading removed.
@SundaeSwap V4 introduces Atomic Swaps: multi-pool routes that execute in a single Cardano transaction. Instead of settling each hop separately, V4’s router finds a path across pools and executes the entire route at once.

The Cardano integration was built by @wingriderscom and coordinated and reviewed with @IOGroup and the @midnightfdn. Payment and stake keys are kept separate, helping maintain clear boundaries between different key functions. As AI agents take on more onchain tasks, Cardano is now part of the same multi-chain signing layer as Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin - with policy controls in the path to signing.
AI agents that move funds need guardrails. With Open Wallet Standard, each agent can have its own API key. Before a transaction is signed, policies such as chain allowlists and key expiry are checked against the parsed Cardano transaction details. The result: policy checks built into the signing workflow, before a transaction gets signed.
Cardano is now supported by the Open Wallet Standard. In v1.4.3, @Cardano joins Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin in an open-source wallet management and signing layer designed for AI agents. Private keys stay on the machine running the system.

The DRep Council plans to work toward aligning these standards with Intersect and Catalyst. A clearer bar. A shared lens. Better-informed treasury decisions.
Clearer expectations can help raise the quality of treasury governance across @Cardano. Proposers should know the evaluation criteria before they submit, and DReps should have a consistent framework for reviewing what’s put forward.
Cardano’s @DRepCouncil is working on its first tangible output: Governance Proposal Standards. Drawing on past DRep voting rationales, the standards are being developed to give proposers clearer requirements and DReps a shared framework for evaluating on-chain actions.

More liquidity and future incentives around USDCx can make this loop even more attractive. One to watch as the RealFi markets continue to develop on Cardano.
The opportunity comes from the spread between the yield earned on sUSDrf and the cost of borrowing USDCx on Liqwid. As more USDCx liquidity enters the market, the strategy can support larger positions and more activity.

For DReps and the wider Cardano community, this is an opportunity to review the rules before they become part of the constitutional framework. CAP-12 is open for community consultation on the CAP Portal. Read the proposal, understand the parameter categories and voting rules, and help shape the governance groundwork for Dijkstra.
The key detail: CAP-12 is purely additive. It adds the constitutional provisions needed for the new Dijkstra parameters without changing existing provisions. This is governance preparing the framework before the hard fork moves forward.
Before @Cardano can hard fork to Dijkstra, its Constitution needs an update. CAP-12 proposes adding the new Dijkstra hard fork protocol parameters to Appendix I of the Cardano Constitution, establishing the governance framework for the upgrade.
