For the last like 6+ years @IOGroup has hosted an at least monthly "SPO Call" (s/o @cryptstitution and team) where news and information can be shared about the latest in what's coming up or educational for our validator set. The calls are open to the public and they frequently ask the community if they have any news or information to share that would be helpful for the SPO community.... Who's doing this for DReps? What's stopping you (or me, or anyone else) from doing it? Does this really cost anything more than time and maybe a $20/month Zoom package?

This Cardano down turn reminds me a ton of when Solana crashed to lows. Everyone called it a dead chain. Then what happened? Solana went on a historic run. Cardano could be next. With the Leios upgrade Cardano is going to take a huge step forward. I believe. $ADA

Hey Charles @IOHK_Charles I have been dishing out a lot of advice lately and would in some cases have rather done that via DM but they are closed. Anyway, one last thing to share with you and that will be it. Now I don’t know anything about the tech but I understand purpose and mostly I understand people, something I acquired after working in tourism for more than 30 years. It’s a real shame you did not come to our hotel when you were in Barcelona because there is a reason that we and not some other hotel became the first business in the world to accept ADA and to integrate Cardano. Because we run our hotel differently. We approach our guests as people we meet rather than just customers and we are interested in their stories. So on that premises I would like to suggest the following: Don’t use X and Spaces anymore as a place to talk about personal issues or work issues that become personal, if you know what I mean. If you have an issue with somebody of a certain project or entity, don’t put it in front of the community. Instead approach whoever you have your difference with in private. Meet on zoom or whichever medium you are comfortable with and work it out in private. You have been in this situation before, yet you chose to come back to X because you love to be in the community. Perfect. But please try and make the distinction between which things should be dealt with privately and which can be exposed to the community. “Community” does not mean access for everybody to everything. I think if you try to follow that simple guideline you ll find yourself in a lot less situations of public conflict and you may return to a certain lightness of being also when you are working on Cardano. I really hope so. Peace out 💙

Cardano be like, "we need to fix outside perspective of us"! Meanwhile you have every loser out there completely waiting to engagement farm any negative output we have. We are all giving them ammo right now. We have set a very bad tone in Cardano right now. I am guilty of this as well. Every post gives people outside our eco, who know nothing about the day to day, ammo to dunk on us. They know none of the nuance. They see red, and just pile it on. We need another platform to have the important conversations without the noise and backlash of having open conversations. We gotta kick the infighting to the curb or do it in private. Problem is everyone knows this and still does it directly on X. Not sure what the solution is but continually bitching on the timeline is only going to make outside perception of us worse. These people want to see us fail. We are about to massively spend from our treasury. Keeping sentiment around that spend high is very important. Happy Thursday! To @IOHK_Charles , and the Cardano community Charles, I saw your video the other day in which you asked “where do we go from here?”and in which you were despairing about the negative behaviour of many. You are looking at it the wrong way. Humans are what they are. Now, Cardano humans have recently been asked to forget about all they know and use a new system of doing business. If they react with anger, frustration, spite etc, it means the system they have committed to isn’t good enough. Simple. They lash out in frustration, not malice. So we don’t need better humans, because those don’t exist. We need a better system. The current problem is pretty clear. We have a “one-pile-Treasury”that is supposed to finance anything anybody can think of that is in any possible way related to Cardano. Then we all get to fight about it. To make matters worse, none of us can possibly be masters of all topics, yet Dreps are asked to vote on all proposals, also on some topic matters they likely know little about . Not to mention the sheer volume of proposals they are meant to vote on. The solution is the following: Evolve the process: 1. Establish categories up front that Treasury Money gets to get spend on 2. Decide which field gets what percentage 3. Get the current and new Dreps to choose a category that they want to be Drep for, based on their personal expertise and passion. Outcome: - All categories of work needed to further develop Cardano are guaranteed their funding - Decisions on what to spend the funds on are now made by Dreps with expertise in their field Now the system works better, Cardano humans don’t get frustrated and stressed anymore, and we all go back to the mission of changing the world, powered by Cardano technology. @NaVi_GaT0R @Padierfind @adatainment @Josi_sndnc @YoramBenzvi @ADAFrog_Pool @AdamRusch @adanorthpool @ATADA_Stakepool @LaPetiteADA @phillip_pon @Laura_Mattiucci
