@bernal1fcb To make anit-venom. I'm no chemist, but I know it is used to make anti-venom. Think of it the same way as like a flu shot, they get a very weak version of the flu and put it into your system so your body knows how to fight it. I think that's the same idea here.

I remember he was just an rebellious teenager. He wasn't rude but he would like to be a rebel and out speed enemies. They kept some of that through the SA games/era. I think it was around sonic 06 when he started turning into the intentional hero, tho that's arguable. Personally my favorite Sonic is the OVA version, mixes the original rebellious teenager with anime. Feels like what he originally was supposed to be IMO.
