#TilrayArmy💰🍀 - Today (July 2, 2026) the DEA’s administrative hearings on the reclassification of cannabis to Schedule III continued, a process that began on June 29th and is scheduled to continue until at least July 15th, with a break on July 3rd. Today, testimony and cross-examination of DEA-selected witnesses continued. * Today, the outside participants were almost exclusively opponents of the reclassification, which has drawn much criticism from the industry. However, the DEA is officially the institution supporting the proposal to move to Schedule III, and the government’s key witness is an expert who explains the scientific basis used to recommend the reclassification. In a major development from the past 24 hours, the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed court documents seeking to dismiss anti-cannabis groups’ attempts to stop the reclassification process, arguing that they are also motivated by economic interests. This is a sign that the administration continues to defend the reform process. Overall, today did not bring any major surprises, but it was a mild positive for the industry: * No information has emerged indicating that the process will be suspended or canceled. * The DEA and DOJ continue to formally defend the Schedule III proposal. * The opposition’s arguments are on file, but the final decision will depend on an analysis of the entire administrative file, not just their testimony.
