That said it sucks to see people unable to play cards that hold a special place in their collection. For many, a mana crypt or j-lo was something you saved up to get. Maybe its signed. Maybe its borderless (like Tony's). Cards hold significance to people and losing that hurts.
After the initial shock, we're excited and curious about the new cEDH meta after these bans. Marath is still a fun fringe deck. Sisay still does Sisay things. Ob Nix still pinging. It's sad to see some decks die, but we've lived through that before and the format was fine.
