Hi @CaitlinLong_ ! I respect you a lot. I really believe you are one of the most trustful persons in the Bitcoin & crypto ecosystem. What do you think about L2 in Bitcoin and that evolution? Thx
@blockfiat Thank you! 🙏 I’m a huge fan of #LightningNetwork & other L2s that truly anchor to the base-layer #Bitcoin blockchain (may free markets determine the best one!). #Liquid isn’t technically an L2 but it anchors to #Bitcoin and I’m a fan—interesting things happening there too.
@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat L2s on a monetary network are obsolete. Blockchains are obsolete. Do it all on the base layer with the same Nakamoto properties as #Bitcoin .
@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat I'm surprised you don't know about $KAS 🤔
@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat Check out @Coredao_Org it is so many steps ahead of #Liquid. @richrines knows how beautifully synagistic and symbiotic the two chains are and will be into the future.
@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat What are your thoughts about Roger Ver’s book?
The⚡️lightning network is centralized garbage and it blows my mind how many bitcoiners are claiming this is the solution to BTC’s inability to scale. How about we check in and see what the Lightning Network CTO said about the #GHOST protocol all the way back in 2015? The ghost protocol became what $KAS is today. $KAS solves the scalability issue but maintains the decentralization and security of bitcoin all on the base layer. Study $KAS and consider having a small allocation just incase it catches on 👀

@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat Liquid is the same L2 as anything built on ETH. But it requires no new token. There is technically only one L2. Thats LN.
@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat Hi @CaitlinLong_ ! Have you had a chance to explore the @rootstock_io ecosystem and its impact in Latin America? Projects like @tropykus and @moneyonchainES are boosting opportunities and creating real impact for people. We'd love to hear your thoughts on them 🌴😍
@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat "The Liquid Core software and consensus layer focuses on establishing history of token ownership, not the meaning of a particular token or what abilities ownership of asset imbues to the holder." blockstream.com/assets/downloa… to be clear.
@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat Liquid is considered a Bitcoin Layer 2 solution: The Liquid whitepaper explicitly states that "Liquid is a Bitcoin sidechain"1, which means it is a Layer 2 solution built on top of the Bitcoin blockchain (Layer 1).
@CaitlinLong_ @blockfiat The whitepaper explains that Liquid uses a "two-way peg" to convert BTC to L-BTC (Liquid Bitcoin) and vice versa, allowing transactions to be processed off the main Bitcoin blockchain
