Dear #WritingCommunity… Can we please stop calling the “rejections”? They’re PASSES. Big difference. Rejection implies negative emotions attached. A pass simply means the chemistry isn’t there. Also, if you’ve completed a first draft of ANY writing project, YOU ARE AN AJTHOR.
@C_H_Armstrong There's a motion on the floor. Henceforward and forever more the word "rejection" will be replaced with "pass." Do I hear a second? Second. The motion has passed.
@C_H_Armstrong Thank you for clearing that up. I'm an author! 😁
@C_H_Armstrong Thank you!! You are one of the best cheerleaders we have and I love you for it!!❤️
@C_H_Armstrong Agreed. @QueryTracker uses Rejections on the author side of things. Does it use Rejection or Pass for agents? Maybe something to consider changing?
@C_H_Armstrong You're a writer if you finish a draft. Not an author.
