Hey @PedroCPSCEO @ChiPubSchools School Psychologists can’t access online psych tests results done by teachers and parents because CPS has not paid the bill for the vendor. Can’t be hand scored w/o ACCESS to results on rating scales, academic & cognitive assessments. @ISBEnews

One of our clinicians was just now informed that her CPS student was exposed to a close contact last Monday. Since then, her younger child has now tested positive. She was not notified by CPS, but by her child’s teacher. 8 days after the exposure occurred.

“I was a rich liberal gentrifier with a BLM yardsign but then I hated the disproportionately minority teachers unions for standing up for its workers” is not the revelation you think it is!
I will never understand why wanting to teach 10 days remotely during a surge was seen as an act of war by @ChiPubSchools. We will go back with inadequate safety measures. Less than LA, NYC & most burbs. Less than our students deserve. It’s a hard reality check. @CTULocal1

Why would @PedroCPSCEO go on CNN to say this? Why not also talk to local reporters who are trying to report on this all day, every day?
@craigrwall In an interview with CNN just now, @PedroCPSCEO said he is "cautiously optimistic... Both sides want to make a deal. I'm hoping we have news for parents very soon... hopefully within a couple of hours at the very latest." Says the two sides have agreed on school-based metrics.
