Thank you everyone for giving the children an amazing time. You all looked amazingly refreshed at 5am ( the parents looked a bit iffy) :) Brilliant children . A huge thanks to our staff for working so hard to make it all possible
The driver’s sat-nav says we should be arriving at school at 5:19am. We are happy to report all children and staff have had at least 2 minutes sleep 🤣
The last stop before home. A lot of tired but happy children looking forward to seeing their families 😊
It’s 1am and children (and staff) are split into two camps: those sleeping like a baby and those waiting for their beds until they sleep 🫣 We’re heading to Peterborough Services for a rest break for the driver. Should be there 1:45am. We’ll send an ETA from there.
It’s just gone midnight and those of us who are awake have just enjoyed the Dartford Tunnel. The traffic has cleared… for now!
Estimated arrival time is currently 6am. We will let you know if anything changes
All checked in and ready for the 9:05pm (French time) ferry ⛴️ Children have been great company and very patient 😊
We’ve had a good stop at a service station and now going through to Calais ⛴️ Mr Ryan is keeping us entertained with a HARD quiz!
The journey back continues across Belgium 🇧🇪 We’ll keep you up to date with our progress along the way 🚌 ⛴️ 🚌
