You can disagree with Chris (and I do), but he's right in that AI Art hasn't gone through the collective consensus formation that gen art had in '21 I can't tell if Botto not making the cut despite multiple 6 fig sales this year (two from sotheby's in Oct) is ignorance or something else The fact that it's an open question for relatively plugged in NFT connoisseurs reflects how niche the AI art still is I don't blame them, it takes a lot of work and effort to come to your conclusions from first principles. What volume and high floor prices do is they shortcut that for newcomers We all have our lists, but the market needs to beat the skeptics on the head with enough sales that they can no longer question it. Until then, we wait

I truly enjoy reading @CozomoMedici’s Medici Minutes but one statement in today’s newsletter caught my eye: “Unfortunately I have yet to see a gallery in the space really catapult an artist’s success, but I’m hopeful this will change this cycle.” I have to say that I believe @fellowshiptrust is the exception. Case in point @niceaunties. I truly believe they helped catapult her career, but with anything it was of course a collaborative effort. I personally think the sum is greater than what they each could have achieved on their own. Huge kudos to @niceaunties and the Fellowshio team, lead by the brilliant @halecar2.
