@TampaFLPolitico @USRepKCastor The service we had encorporated commuter lots where people could park and get on larger transits. & then they would use the expressway to get to different areas. We also used “slug lines” which was a service that allowed drivers to pick up passengers and use the HOV at no cost

@TampaFLPolitico @USRepKCastor It easier said than done. It’ll cost billions , which to be honest we don’t have. But I do remember the federal government was willing to pay a significant portion under Rick Scott and he said no. In Northern VA we had public transit that connected local and regionally.

I am so proud of our @GoHART operators who went to the annual Florida Triple Crown Roadeo in Gainesville to compete. This is an annual and highly competitive competition and contest between Florida’s best paratransit and fixed route bus operators and maintenance technicians. And every year HART competes. I am thrilled to report that HART won first place for Bus State of Florida champions. Guarionex Falero Ramos - a HART bus operator - placed first. I will be asking the team to come to the next HART Board meeting - with that outrageously super sized trophy in hand - to be publicly saluted. I am always so proud of the hard-working men and women who make up our HART team. They’re always working hard and know that what they do is a public service.
