Public Works Grounds Maintenance crew will be leading a volunteer group for a day long project on the Sitka Cross Trail to spread gravel on the section of trail connecting the Cross Trail Yaw Drive Connector to Indian River Trail. The crew will begin on June 26 beginning at 8am.

July 15, the Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport improvements will affect how passengers board/exit planes. For 10 months passengers will embark/disembark the aircraft from the tarmac using portable stairs or ramps, as the current jet bridge will be out of service. Q. 907.747.1803

CBS will be conducting a Full-Scale High Hazard Evacuation Drill Functional Test on 6/19 between 9-9:30am. This test will consist of activating the sirens and systems within the Blue Lake Campground, Blue Lake Powerhouse, and GPIP area. Questions 907.747.1886.
