I’ve been living in Vietnam for the past 4 years, spending time in both Nha Trang and Da Nang.
Like everywhere else in the world, the cost of living is clearly rising. Many people who want to escape the traditional 9–5 lifestyle are willing to make serious changes in order to reduce their basic monthly expenses: housing, food, healthcare, internet, coffee, transportation, and other essentials.
The goal is simple: spend less on survival, gain more freedom, and focus on building online.
Right now, I’m exploring the idea of creating an investment fund focused on Vietnamese real estate, also offering consulting in Quy Nhon, Vietnam.
Quy Nhon is a small coastal city that is still very underrated. At the moment, there are very few foreigners here, the lifestyle is calm, and I believe it has strong potential for people who want to live by the sea, lower their expenses, and work on their own projects.
I hope this message reaches people from different parts of the world.
I would really love to hear your honest opinion:
How much would you ideally like to spend per month on your basic needs?
And how much are you currently spending in the country where you live?
Your perspective truly matters to me. I’d appreciate hearing from everyone around the world.
Lately I keep noticing influencers of Asian appearance who come off as unusually confident about tech and finance.
Why does that feel so convincing?
Part of it is real: many big wins in recent years were led by Asian founders, and the media loves a neat narrative. Part of it is optics: style, language, and headlines do a lot of the heavy lifting.
We sometimes mistake polish for proof.
But all the same, if you are Asian and know English, you can easily start a blog now and look quite profitable in front of Europeans or Americans.

@wormhole look dead. I've checked their work and related profiles, at least they're doing something despite the criticism in the comments. As you know, the project was hacked 2 years ago and subsequently they sold their tokens on OTC, probably hedging their short positions. At a minimum, these positions will need to be closed, as funding is no longer so attractive and there is less and less liquidity. I think that the team will take a step towards a deal with MM to create liquidity based on the principle of Gotbit/GLS services and the like in the near future. Based on an ATR SL 30%, which is acceptable in my opinion. Good luck.
The main problem with crypto projects is that a huge number of people simply hide behind decentralization. In the end, over time, everything comes down to a small group of key managers uniting to control the project - totally control it. It’s something in between communism and totalitarianism. As history shows, financially, countries and projects cannot exist for long under such conditions.
The narrative, the “cover story,” eventually loses its appeal and that initial shine of novelty, and all of it turns into strange, useless “factories.” In the end, they become extremely inefficient, while the project leaders grow lazy, with their bellies full of lobsters and Barbie dolls in bed. Those who continue to support such projects suffer from Stockholm syndrome.
@kadmitriev Кирилл, не могли бы вы хотя бы 1 раз в неделю писать что-то хорошее, хотя бы в качестве приправы. В текущей ситуации в мире это может быть очень сложно, но я уверен какие-то сдвиги есть.
@StealthElectron Try Vietnam, especially Da Nang, i move a lot around SA. I'm living here by paying crypto. I don't have any bank.
