It’s crazy to me people still don’t do grocery delivery in 2024. It’s like $5. Minimum wage is a higher dollar per hour.
@Budgetdog_ Was just thinking about this last week. I used to enjoy some grocery shopping just to get out a bit and find new snacks, but lately it's become a real chore
@Budgetdog_ It's not "like $5." Every item is price-hiked ~15% PLUS "like $5." ridester.com/are-instacart-…
@Budgetdog_ I get the sentiment if you aren't the cook in the home or don't like cooking. If you're a cook, you typically want to see and pick the ingredients yourself.
@Budgetdog_ 5usd plus whatever they mark up per item, still cheaper to buy in the store.
@Budgetdog_ That doesn't include a tip Mr. CPA. So it ends up more than $5. Plus depending on where you shop you may not get everything you ask for. It's always better going to the store yourself. Unless you can't for health reasons.
@Budgetdog_ I never stopped doing grocery delivery that like the ultimate convenience.
@Budgetdog_ That’s right Why not pay someone $5.00 to bring you about to spoil milk and meat Who wants to shop for their own food 🤷♂️
