People are far more scared of being called racist than they are of admitting something is unsafe. I see it everywhere. People know what they’re seeing. They know what’s happening in their cities. They know what they’d warn their own wife or daughter to avoid. But in public, they pretend not to notice… because the social penalty for saying the obvious has become greater than the danger of ignoring it.

The skin of white people can be porcelain, alabaster, pink, peach, beige, golden, olive, and tan. Our eyes can be blue, grey, amber, green, hazel, and brown. Is there any other race with more variety? Doesn’t this count as diversity?

Today, I decided to leave my church. I can't sit through another political sermon where the phrase "White Supremacy" is used again and again, and I'm told I'm not doing enough for the LGBTQ+++ crowd. I want a church that has more crucifixes than rainbow flags and whose bishop doesn't send videos to play about how he protests at whatever the church's politics-du-jour is. And thus, I am no longer a member of the United Methodist Church.

Billy Schmidt, a 22 year old senior at Penn State, was killed by two black teenagers while walking home from the bar on Friday night over his cell phone. He was murdered just foot steps from his parents' home in South Philadelphia. His father was the one who found the stolen cell phone the next morning, discarded under a car. Please pray for Jacob Smith, he's in such agony doctors can't treat his pain outside the ICU. He is facing surgery and skin grafts on his neck and back. Here is a black woman beating an Asian lady for not accepting her EBT card at a nail salon. These videos come out regularly. And yet blacks online are still gaslighting us that Asians are somehow the hateful ones targeting the black community.

Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian were a young white couple carjacked in Knoxville. They were abducted, bound, and taken to a house. Christopher was brutally tortured, raped with a dog chain around his neck, shot, and set on fire. Channon was beaten, raped, had bleach poured down her throat, and suffocated in a trash can with a plastic bag over her head. Five black individuals were convicted of the kidnapping, torture, and barbaric murder. This was not random. This was white hate. White victims are routinely hunted, humiliated, dehumanised, and tortured for days simply because they are white. Strangers. No prior connection. Pure racial hatred. Whites are the most targeted racial group in the West yet receive the least protection. Without serious advocacy and systemic change, these white hate crimes will only get worse. Christopher and Channon’s lives mattered. Their suffering must not be forgotten.

One was treated vastly differently than the other. Apparently some lives matter more than others.
