Trevor Lawrence was viewed as a cant-miss quarterback. Caleb Williams is being viewed as a can't-miss quarterback. From what we know now, what's says Williams won't be the next Lawrence?
@RyanMiner_FFB Bears fans would drag themselves through a warehouse covered in broken glass soaked in lemon juice for Trevor Lawrence level QB play
@BrettKollmann @RyanMiner_FFB It would still be a disappointment if Caleb is not better than Lawrence has proven through three years so far. I mean you want the first overall pick to be, at worst, a top 3-5 QB in their conference. Lawrence isn't that in his conference.
@BrettKollmann @_NickWhalen @RyanMiner_FFB But what happens when Drake Maye is Josh Allen/Justin Herbert?
@BrettKollmann @RyanMiner_FFB I would do this while drinking Malort
@BrettKollmann @RyanMiner_FFB 21 tds, 14 ints and 12 fumbles? That Trevor Lawrence? I’m setting my bar just a wee bit higher.
@BrettKollmann @RyanMiner_FFB SALTED lemon juice, please . . .
@BrettKollmann @RyanMiner_FFB If he is a top 20 QB for 3+ years he’s probably the best bears QB of all time
@BrettKollmann @RyanMiner_FFB Caleb does that and he might be in legitimate “best QB in the NFC” talk. That’s one of the things that gives me the most hope for the Bears. Best QB in the NFL is pretty much unattainable for the foreseeable future, but best in the NFC is possible and would lead to a lot of W’s.
