An observation after selling HIGH END and LOW END sports cards on eBay for many years. (We just crossed 32,000 completed transactions) The CHEAPER the card is....the more IMPATIENT the buyer is.... The correlation is undeniable.
@BreakerCulture I also believe the percentage of scams that happen in the high end significantly less
@BreakerCulture Gospel truth. Also in my experience, the more difficult to please and more likely to back out
@BreakerCulture Cheaper cards are younger / lower income, more time of their hands, more time to worry, nothing better to do.
@BreakerCulture 💯. I never have problems on the expensive stuff. It’s always the under $20 guys where the trouble is
@BreakerCulture @CardPurchaser $500+ card - take your time, appreciate you, love the card! $20 or under card - can’t believe it’s been 3 days and I don’t have the card yet.. can you take pictures of both sides and all the corners.. i changed my mind and don’t want it lmao
@BreakerCulture @CardPurchaser I would think the fear of missing out is amplified as the card value declines. Larger source of buyers, therefore impulse buying is going to happen far more frequently
@BreakerCulture @CardsJakes I mean….think of who you’re dealing with in general. Not all, not a comment saying more money = better. But guys fighting for $3 cards probably aren’t exactly lighting the world on fire
