DGN Girls Bowl @BowlDgn

Very proud of this group of girls. The Trojans came in 6th place at the 12 team Hinsdale Central regional. One bad game knocked them out of contention, but they surprised some people by hanging in there with some of the top teams in the area. Good job to all!

Congratulations to senior Kalee Petras who earned All-regionals honors with her top 4 finish at the Hinsdale Central regional on Saturday! Kalee bowled an 1120 6-game series. Her afternoon 658 series included a personal best 258 game. Good luck next week at sectionals!

Congratulations to senior Kalee Petras on her high series for the Trojans at the recent WSC Tournament. Kalee's night included an incredible personal best game of 235! She leads the Trojans into the Hinsdale Central regional this Saturday at Suburbanite Bowl in Westmont.

Congratulations to the girls bowling team for winning the consolation bracket championship and finishing in the top 10 of the Leyden Invitational Saturday! Bowlers included Kalee Petras, Maria Cvitanova, Mackenzie Ashcraft, Temi Ajayi, Bri Scholz, Ann McCluskey and Emily Reyes.

Nathan Sisco bowled a 1223 over six games at the boys sectional hosted by Sandburg HS. Although he did not earn an automatic qualification to state, averaging over 200 for 6 games is an incredible accomplishment! Congratulations to Nathan! We are proud of you! @dgnathletics

Before winter break rolls around, the Trojans will face Naperville North (12/13) and Matea Valley (12/14) at Fox Bowl. Come out cheer the team on!

This past Saturday, the varsity squad won the consolation bracket at the Streamwood Invite and came in 12th overall out of 28 teams. Congratulations to Mackenzie Ashcraft, Bri Scholz, Maria Cvitanova, Kalee Petras, Temi Ajayi and Josie Knopf!

A lot of new faces on this year's team. Varsity has struggled to find it's footing, but jv has started the season 4-1.

The DGN girls bowling season came to an end on Saturday as the team placed 6th overall in the Hinsdale Central Sectional. Junior Kalee Petras had a great individual showing, but ended up 26 pins out of qualifying for state. Despite the results, excellent effort by all!

Congratulation to the DGN bowling team! The girls saved their best game (930) for last and ended up qualifying for sectionals as a team. The girls will compete in the Hinsdale Central Sectional next Saturday (2/11) @ Suburbanite Bowl in Westmont starting at 9:00 am.

At the West Suburban Conference Invite, Taylor Sisco bowled the highest game of the entire match with a 247 and came in 3rd place overall with a 203 average over six games. We are so proud of you!

The Trojans had two girls earn All-Conference honors this year for their performances throughout the conference season. Taylor Sisco placed 12th overall with a 173 average and Jessica Gruszka placed 8th overall with a 176 average. Awesome job ladies!

Congratulations to sophomore Maria Civitanova who came in 7th place overall at the Addison Trail JV Invite on Saturday! Maria finished with an 848 total pinfall over six games. We are proud of you!
