@Railbirdslex Need to do better as a team, but it's good to see some individuals making breakthroughs. 5 of next 7 away from home is going to make or break the squad and the season (0-0-4 away so far).

@Itsjustryan27 We have 5 non-customizable jerseys that are available, but, it will probably be a while until we could mail these out. They will be the only other ones likely ever sold/made.

@KITSZN @foxandsuch agreed. NHL would be the same (I hate wearing massive NHL shapeless jerseys). Also thought it was a good merch line for bands. I did once see a Weezer one that looked vaguely like a soccer shirt.

If the home pays homage to the primrose and blue of Warrington (and a cap tip to Parma's 90s jerseys), the away is undeniably a tribute to Paisley and St Mirren.

After some delay, and deliberation, we're about ready to launch our inaugural campaign. Final details include the arrival of our away kit assets from @fmcustomkits

@SoccerwithBrian *inaugural home game at that. Still, Lexington SC didn't sell out (3k in a 5k stadium), but the last game only had about 1000 bums in seats (game 4 at home)

@cjcoreschi I know, there would need to be a goodwill anchor investor, especially one that wouldn't have a controlling interest could be difficult to find.

@cjcoreschi I think about NY Cosmos all the time as a fan-ownership project. 8000 fans at $250 each is $2m. Would that be enough to get the IP away and a fresh start. Then money would need to be raised to run a team, find a home etc. I have a LOT of ideas on this, not just NYC....

@Aljarov @LexingtonRescue Finally, we will have 5 jerseys available for purchase at some point later in the summer that will fund an additional contribution when sold. More details on those later but we have 3 L and 2 XL sized shirts coming (they wont be able to be customized, but will have numbers)

@LexingtonRescue is doing a match on contributions today, so we are sending $500 to equal ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS in support of the fight against homelessness and hunger in the Bluegrass. THANK YOU everyone who bought a jersey, this is way more than I could've hoped to raise!

The five will be available for $50 each shipped or ideally, pickup in Lexington area. With ~ $15 per jersey to charity. Once we sell these we should have raised well over $500 to fight homelessness and hunger in the Bluegrass.
