Blue Peter (15th May 1972). Lesley Judd makes her first BP appearance, although not as a presenter (instead, as a Young Generation dancer, she was on hand to put Val, Pete and John through their performing paces). Lesley would be credited as a BP presenter from June 1972 onwards.

While made for children with hearing impairment, Vision On (1st broadcast 62 years ago) quickly gained a wide following of fans in its 12-year run. Encouraging imagination and an abundance of ideas, it never talked down to kids - entertaining while educating them too.
