@VictorianLondon Somewhat creepy, too. A super polished, dream-state-like finish. And, glitchy: peek closer at the images @VictorianLodon posted and you'll see some rather surreal holes: malformed figures & objects missing - the result of incomplete data or inadequate processing power.

Generative AI is trained on exiting data - that's how it learns. By understanding what's been, Gen AI can - theory says - anticipate an event & respond. Fine in business for customer service, security or running processes. How's it enhancing to our understanding of the past....

OK: so, Google's Gemini AI got flamed for generating "woke" images of WWII German soldiers. Ticks the headline boxes, Google apologies, mistakes made etc, etc... Less fodder friendly for the culture war and of greater concern to those in heritage should be this Generative AI...
