Damar Hamlin's four-year, $3.64M contract with the Bills contains terms that mean he'd be paid less if he is on Injured Reserve Hamlin was placed in IR this week, but the Bills worked out an agreement with the NFL and NFLPA to pay him fully 🙌 (via @RapSheet)
@BleacherReport @RapSheet So if his injury requires long term care, his money will get eaten through pretty quickly. It's only a small rookie deal. So beyond the prayers, thoughts and showing #3 all over the place...which is fine BUT...what is the NFL willing to do to help him financially in that case?
@BleacherReport @RapSheet Fantastic. How about normalizing paying all NFL players with guaranteed deals.
@BleacherReport @RapSheet So they’re gonna fully pay a guy who’s contract wasn’t fulfilled and didn’t play ? Kinda seems ridiculous, that money could go to someone who could actually play
@BleacherReport @RapSheet The fact that those are pennies to them.
@BleacherReport @RapSheet They know there would be a class action lawsuit if they didn't fully pay the players they forced into taking the shot. By accepting their money, he has to stay silent on the "vaccine" just like JJ Watt. Staying silent doesn't help your fellow NFL players. Is the money worth it?
@BleacherReport @Rebecca30H @RapSheet It’s bigger than football. Great job Bills.💯
