Musician & Actor Tyrese says “Sometimes I wish I was born Latino” He later goes on to discuss how the Latino community is grounded in family, the Jewish community sticks together but the black community is threatened by each other.
@Blackmillions_ Ain't no Latinos named Tyrese-quez.
@Blackmillions_ The rest of his statements aren't 100% always true but yes, most communities stick together better than black communities. I still don't wanna be anything other than black but I get it. This culture is exhausting because of the lack of togetherness.
@Blackmillions_ This stems from slavery. It was taught to us for years and later became generational embedded in our DNA. This is why til this day we fight over everything, we dont know how to unite, we stay jealous of one another etc.
@Blackmillions_ A lot of the issues, habits, anti-social behavior and pathologies are already well understood by sociologists. He should take some time off and study some of those concepts.
@Blackmillions_ Be the change you want to see in the black community because the desire to be something other than who you are goes against our need for togetherness . Covet being a better person for your community instead of escaping from it.
He's not lying. I'd add that if you don't feel oppressed as most blacks do, you're not black enough. They say. If you don't have malice in your heart towards other races of people, you're a 🦝. They say. In my experiences, black Americans are the most racist group in the country. Most blame ◽️ pepo for everything. Accountability eludes them.
