Fixed/Scarce are synonymous when it comes to absolute scarcity. It’s like homes in a neighborhood, the Mona Lisa, etc. In this sense, 21M hard cap is absolutely scarce. But relative scarcity does not apply, ie, more demand than available supply. This is where the supply/demand equilibrium sets the price, and where the divisibility into sats plays a role. Sats are always for sale, and demand will always find supply, but at what price.

@Breedlove22 That is, unless, you are asking someone else that question, as then you will realize most people conflate money with currency, and have no idea how money even works, thus keep 0% APR savings accounts full as possible, making min payments on double digit interest credit cards.

The fact that they are considering a HOLD is baffling, given the employment situation and most businesses' inability to refinance their debt due to high interest rates. Consumers are broke and not consuming, so businesses need less labor, and the cycle reinforces itself. Focusing on inflation at this juncture proves how disconnected most government officials are from the broader economy.

@aflfan234 Most Bitcoin holders view BTC's utility as a way to preserve wealth through time and space, and our models demonstrate what the math looks like by using the asset as collateral to obtain cash for various purposes; augment cashflow, re-invest, pay taxes, etc.
