@thountula I don't think white ever got worse. He's always been good enough imo especially as a back up RB who wasn't a natural RB when he arrived. Yeah he's had a few shakey moments but I think most defenders do. I've always liked him

@HighburyHugh @yorkshiregunner I genuinely believe he's not been good enough for years. That's my opinion. I can't see arteta keeping him out the squad though unless there was something already in place. That would be dumb surely. Unless his backup plan is to play eze there as back up if needed

If after watching our game last night you still think Arteta was being unfair to Martinelli, then maybe you’re not ready for Arsenal to move to the next level. I’ve watched Pep move on from Kevin De Bruyne. Carlo Ancelotti has left big-name players out of his squad before. At the biggest clubs, sentiment can’t always come before what the manager believes is best for the team. Martinelli has been at Arsenal for seven years. Yes, he’s been a loyal servant, but nobody knows what’s happening behind the scenes. Arteta sees these players every day in training. He knows things we don’t. Look at Christian Nørgaard. Arteta brought him in last season and barely used him. So if Martinelli keeps being left out, maybe the message is becoming clear: the club needs to move in a different direction, and Martinelli may need to move on too. And honestly, that might be the best thing for Martinelli as well. I believe he still has something to offer, but not in this Arsenal team. We’ve moved past his level. He needs to go somewhere else where he can play regularly and show what he can actually offer. As for Jesus? I’m fully behind that decision. I’ve had enough. This isn’t about disrespecting Martinelli. Sometimes, for both the player and the club, moving on is simply the right decision. #TransferNews #AFC

@JkgoonerJohn @Arsenal @gabimartinelli I would love for him to be good. He's been a model player. Never moans, presents well, wears the badge with honour etc. On the pitch though his stats for a team wanting it all just aren't good enough unfortunately. Or haven't been for some time

I hope that continues this season or yes he needs to go as well. Madueke has only had one season. This will be the season I judge him fully

I absolutely love the depth of this squad. For years and years we watched key players get injured or knackered and have no one to cover it any quality and it cost us trophies. Now we have multiple quality players in most positions.

@9jagunner1 @RedCarpetViews We now have 4x quality CBs, 2x quality RB and 2x Quality LB. White and Hincape can cover CB if needed as well. We've always struggled with defensive injuries and not having quality cover to deal with it. That is now completely sorted. Not too mention salmon as well
