Burntwood Road Culvert almost blocked again relying on 70year old to remove debris. What's it all about Cannock County District Council

@StaffordshireCC It's being treated as a blocked road gully which it isn't, the report number is 4194817 From Amey, I have been in touch and explained the correct problem which is the culvert inlet.

@CannockChaseDC Could you confirm your environmental team is responsible for checking water quality of streams, specifically near the culvert which is SK022088 Burntwood Road Norton Canes, and how often, and are records kept. Thanks

@StaffordshireCC I've reported the incident, thanks. I need to know if there is a schedule for checking, a culvert of known risk such as this. Also, who would I contact for changing the grid to something capable of the job - I believe as photo, bearing in mind the damage costs are in thousands £

@StaffordshireCC Thanks for getting in touch. there is a culvert going under the Burntwood Road in Norton Canes opposite 84a. I'm having trouble locating the people who should be managing it, recently about 20 houses were flooded due to what appears to be a lack of maintenance.

@StaffordshireCC who owns and maintains the watercourse/drain running alongside Norton Canes High School on the west side.
