Some real questions: why can’t enough people afford to pay for their HECS debts when they finish? do we have too many graduates? do our jobs not pay enough? are too many ppl studying what they want instead of what the economy needs? are ppl too entitled and irresponsible?

Experimenting with a “temporary” straw bale 1.25 m2 veggie bed to maximise winter sun. I know it’s getting late to plant winter veg but it’s the first opportunity I’ve had. If it works I’ll build some more permanent beds on the same site. Mesh over the top to discourage 🦘
Little man is really enjoying his shooting. a few things I do w young shooters: double ear protection (avoid flinching, anticipating shot), no hat to impede vision, good glasses so eyes can be fully open, focus on being “like an army tank” and moving as one w the gun (1/2)
@BillNosworthy I had a group of 13 year old boys shouting my name in front of the timekeepers box & when I gave them a little wave they were quick to tell Mr 13 “your Mum waved to me!!!” He was not impressed.
@BillNosworthy @anniethenigma Yes we do drive 100 of km just to get our kids to sport, it’s a normal thing in any country area, 250km one way isn’t out of the ordinary
