DeSantis: “[Donald Trump] owes it to you to defend his record where they added 7.8 trillion to the debt. That set the stage for the inflation that we have now”
@BidenHQ “I’m Joe Biden, and I approve this message.”
@BidenHQ “From 1980 to 2019, the federal debt increased at an annual average rate of 5.6%. In 2020, it increased 18% compared with the year before as federal COVID-19 spending peaked.”
@BidenHQ Apparently, DeeLoser forgets he voted for that spending when he was in Congress.
At the end of 2019, the deficit was $983.6 billion dollars. It wasn't until 2020 that the deficit hit a record $3.13 trillion due to more than $5 trillion in CARES Act spending and other outlays. In 2021 it was $2.8 trillion Then CARES and other pandemic programs started expiring. 2022 was $1.4 trillion 2023 is projected at $1.5 trillion. Explain where Trump added $7.8 trillion BEFORE or DURING the pandemic?
@BidenHQ Why would the obvious winner show up to the losers convention
