My overall opinion on the #Angels all-encompassing type of suck today: Jo Adell was safe, but that call was out of their control. Not using Jose Suarez *was* in their control, but Wash made the poor decision to use him, which wouldn't have been possible if Perry was competent.

In all sincerity, I’m not as mad as these tweets suggest. The main message I’m trying to get across is that the #Angels aren’t good, and the reason for that all goes back to Arte. If we want real change, Arte needs to go. Did I go overboard to stress the point? Yup.
The Angels have like 4 exciting players: Trout, O’Hoppe, Detmers, and Soriano. That’s it. A horrendous organization, all thanks to Arte Moreno. Quit putting money in his pockets. Quit going to Angel Stadium. Time to make him so miserable that he sells the team.

If you go to Angel Stadium and put money in Arte Moreno’s pockets, YOU are part of the problem. Quit giving that clown money. Angel Stadium should be empty for the next 75 games. No one should be there. If you want to ever see a good Angels baseball team, quit going to games.

And don’t forget the reason why we keep getting stuck with incompetent GMs like Perry Minasian is because of Arte Moreno. He won’t pay his GMs commensurate with the position and he doesn’t give them the autonomy that other GMs get. Behind Fisher, Arte is the worst owner in MLB.
Zach Neto is lost at the plate, and has looked that way since he went on the IL last season. If Perry ruined his development by calling him up last season, that will be chief among the reasons why he’s not a GM next season. If he messed up the Angels future, what a moron.

It’s honestly really nice to get back to having a TEAM and people rooting for our TEAM rather than the Ohtani fans and everyone just there to watch one person. I think the Angels are meshing so well because THEY feel it too.

@BeyondTheHalo I’ve heard it was a 5 year offer. It’s also been speculated the Angels didn’t view him as a $30 million pitcher so it’s fair to guess the offer was 5 years and $125-140 million.
