Neighbors keep hearing me yell 'Yes! Right there! Don't stop!' during my Zoom calls. My Wi-Fi is just that unreliable.
The tension when you’re both tired, making eye contact, and silently waiting to see who’s going to make the sacrifice of getting up to turn off the overhead light.
In my 20s, I stayed out until 4 AM. In my 30s, if I get into bed and my phone charger isn't already plugged in on my side, I just accept that I will die disconnected from society.
Saturday night plans: nothing too serious, just a little candlelight, a bottle I can't pronounce, and someone who knows how to make me forget the time. Bring your A-game. Or at least your good playlist.
