Non-verbal communication is critical...Would be interesting to see research on impact of use of live-link for PACE interviews and other processes.

Suggestibility is an easily overlooked vulnerability and presents a significant risk to evidence. Today one AA told me how they once demonstrated it to police. AA: You're very suggestible aren't you? Suspect: Yes AA: What does suggestible mean? Suspect: I don't know.

Interesting query today re: whether man with significant #learningdisability should accept conditional caution when he can't really remember offence or understand implications. @MoJGovUK Code of Practice suggests can't even be offered if doubt about capacity. Court or nothing?

@Berks_AA_team Yes! I tweeted about it many moons ago. It is shocking isn't it. I would say "That would never have happened if the YP had an EFFECTIVE AA there"! Any #appropriateadults or scheme leader with @NetflixUK should use the clip in their training and development.
