I was gonna try and watch Thomas Rew in The hundred. But watching it you just think "what's the point of this, what does any of this mean" BBC and YouTube show online viewing figures and the hundred isn't exactly getting loads of views given it's been heavily advertised

@FreyaWoods8 I tuned into watch James Rew yesterday, lasted 2 balls. The gold on the kit and team squads making no sense and it just being meaningless make it hard to care about. It's still cricket and cricket can be really good in any form. But it just doesn't matter who wins does it?

I wouldn't say highly dependent but football does seem flawed with how powerful penalties are and scoring against low blocks being too hard. The core mechanics of kick a ball into a goal is magic. But I can't think this is how you'd design the game from scratch now.

I love football when it's like this. I don't know if there's rule changes to make scoring more common and open up more space. I imagine people would mostly be against it but I love seeing counters and shots and saves and goals
