Guys, these "AI video" services start with real video clips of actual people. These are **not** AI generated people. Lips and voices are altered -- on top of video segments of actual humans.
@BenjaminDEKR This is actually depressing.. People will sell their videos for $20 and their image/appearance will endlessly be used for generating fake video testimonials.. 😬
@BenjaminDEKR still confused what you are trying to say here. how do you think models like sora work?
@BenjaminDEKR Reason why I quickly removed my post, when I realized it. Not worthy of the news then ☺️
@BenjaminDEKR If we had Trump or Biden as actors saying anything we wanted we would say ‘these are AI generated videos’ no?
@BenjaminDEKR I think this is a semantics thing. Deepfaking is rightfully considered AI. Is it not 'generative?' Was it claimed so? IOW just because it's not in the category of diffusion models that generate frames whole cloth doesn't mean it's not rightfully labelled AI generated content.
@BenjaminDEKR But it's getting more and more advanced, one day AI can absolutely do it entirely, don't you think?
@BenjaminDEKR So basically, the "AI" component is the lip-syncing. So you can get a 'real person' pitching whatever script or service you want. Which btw are getting so good you won't be able to tell the difference.
