Who is for the trees? Anyone? Even Bill Gates has turned on the trees. With only 3 trillion of 6 trillion trees remaining who will love the trees? Who will value the 200GT of CO2 that that every trillion trees sequesters? Who will conserve them? Who will protect them? Who will plant them? Who is for the trees? ❤️🌲 fastcompany.com/90957447/bill-…
@Benioff I’m growing redwood & live oak trees in pots at home. When they get big enough, I’ll plant them in the wild.
I would speak with Charles Alder, myself, or Ryan Baggett about EcoForce Global. They're planting trees in a way I haven't seen elsewhere. Some planting organizations, as well as companies that cut down trees for business are doing their best, but... here's where EcoForce differs. Locally bought saplings, farmer/land owner based incentives, and a commission structure that incentivises not only the planter, but the one selling the trees. As well as some education and benefits offered to farmers for sustainable/healthier crops. The commission structure brings influencers, travel agents, and salespeople into the marketing and sales process. The trackability and process of ensuring the longevity and health of the tree (how is another story) means that corporations would be interested for provable carbon capture and ESG pursuits. Great for their marketing and a verifiable application of ESG/carbon capture funds.
@Benioff our guy in hawaii @yishan is for the trees! check out his start up: @TF_Global !
@Benioff Hi Marc, me and every other beekeeper 🐝 we conserve trees and build sustainable/economical/ecological systems with trees 😊 with all our respect to @BillGates
