@ReelLifeJustin It’s definitely capacity and the ability for people to keep up. AI is already pushing ahead on understanding. I see it as a plateau before everyone’s tests and deployments start working and then they inevitably start treating AI costs like hiring an employee. I know I do now.
How can you NOT believe in God when octopuses dream and otters have a favorite rock they carry around in a little skin pocket and cows have best friends and bees are out there communicating the coordinates of flowers through dancing and they have regional dialects?
Cats are purring at frequencies associated with bone healing? Forests get absolutely incinerated and respond by growing flowers? Dolphins literally invent names for themselves and yell them across the ocean? Penguins are waddling around Antarctica looking for the perfect rock to give their partner?
CROWS REMEMBER YOUR FACE. THEY TELL OTHER CROWS ABOUT YOU. THEY TELL THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT YOU. YOU CAN HAVE GENERATIONAL BEEF WITH A BIRD. I NEED YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS.
Goats have accents. Rats laugh when you tickle them. Elephants mourn their dead. Whales make songs and then OTHER WHALES LEARN THE SONG and suddenly everybody across the ocean is singing the new song.
Monarch butterflies are born knowing how to fly thousands of miles to a place they have never been.
Sea turtles hatch out of an egg, immediately sprint toward an ocean that they have never seen, disappear into it for like 3 decades and then somehow come back to the same beach they hatched on.
Birds can see colors that we humans can’t see. There are colors out there right now that we don’t even get to know about.
There are sea slugs that eat algae and use the chloroplast/chlorophyll and then are just like…photosynthesizing. And they’re super adorable.
There are mushrooms communicating underground. There are seeds sitting in the dirt for decades like “no actually I will wait. It’s fine.”
Squirrels plant trees because they forget where they put their snacks. Relatable.
A CATERPILLAR GOES INTO A LITTLE BAG THAT IT CREATES ITSELF AND DISSOLVES MOST OF ITS BODY INTO ORGANIC GOO AND REARRANGES ITSELF, GROWS WINGS AND THEN LEAVES. WHY IS THIS NOT MORE BEAUTIFULLY TERRIFYING TO PEOPLE??
And you’re telling me a tiny acorn knows how to become a huge tree? It just has a blueprint inside itself?
Your body started as ONE CELL.
ONE.
And that cell divided itself into a brain that can think about its own existence and eyes that can look at stars and hands that can hold somebody else’s hands and a heart that runs on electricity without you even asking it to?
The iron in our blood was made inside a star??
We are walking around on a wet rock covered in bioluminescent oceans and singing whales and laughing rats and birds holding lifelong grudges and flowers exploding out of fire and somehow we’re supposed to act like this is a normal place to live?
We’re supposed to act like this is all just a random, accidental sequence of events?
@hany99dev I came back from Astra and over a day and half, it created 208 files that broke every standard in my app which Fable solved in 17 lines along with clearing up the insanity that Astra felt like was justified.
@thesupermannx If this is real then that almost certainly means conciousness persisted beyond death and can exist within even a small sample of tissue - an entire body is not neccessary. We're just a unique quantum frequency.
@wilsonhlthcoach I’m never clear on posts like this. Was Covid the bio weapon or the vaccine? Because cov2 has 29 proteins and replicates. And the vaccine has 1 and doesn’t - so what the fuck are people going on about? mRNA is a fucking medical revolution.
@realEstateTrent Or the parents are just lazy and claim benefits as the kids are being bullied and forced into situations that don't really improve anything about their life.
How is this missed? 33% in foster care to 9.5% general public - if these things are engrained then why would being in foster care create such a difference? If science is even still relevant - this should be noticed. Right?

@sethrose@thsottiaux I used my 3rd reset earlier after missing one in the middle and losing all my credits. Now upgraded and all to solve an issue dealing with yes/nos migrating from stateful to stateless.
Prediction - the new Harry Potter series is going to fail spectacularly. It truly just doesn’t look good - this as a person who’s loved Harry Potter since 1999.
To the people who want to “ban” ai smarter than a person - make it make sense. I see the strongest irony that those who seem to despise the status quo also hate AI and I truly don’t understand what they think might upset that perfection of corruption other than something like AI?
@nickgraynews Not frontier model quality but privacy/confidentiality requirements - definitely. Like I have a bunch of source code I want to document from a legacy system where the models have definitely never seen the same logic. They might say they won’t train but it’s hard to believe.
Such a scam article written by pharmaceuticals companies most likely. When the brain get sick…
Just corruption straight up.
If something bad happens, yeah it messes you up, but people recover. They don’t need to be told they’re broken forever.

@YIMBYLAND That’s a myth based on nothing but awful people. Never leave a baby who needs something. Let them sleep in your bed. Go research the origin of this nonsense and please tell everyone a crying baby needs attention every time.
