A little tour of Melbourne via my illustrated world. I'm back at my desk now and open to commissions, travel projects especially welcome!
The last Melbourne architecture before boarding. Ahead of us lies a 12 hour delay in Dubai, mixed messages, upset children, passengers collapsing, no seating, no food, no customer service from @emirates, landing at the wrong airport in the right city, and four lost suitcases.

@katylcowan @creativeboom Stick to a sleep schedule. In turn it helps you prioritize your work. Understand when your prime time is. Mine is the morning bc I am rested. My brain is much, much better at creative decisions and implementation.
I am freelancing at an agency that's office is on Pickle Mews. Each meeting room is named after a pickled condiment. This pleases far more than it rightly should do.
@katylcowan @creativeboom My only real tip is not to live in proximity to chaotic people. Since that is difficult to control for, I'm recommending Quies Anti-Noise Wax - the only earplugs I've been able to sleep in. Warm the wax in your hand and then insert/ spread over ear opening, top with a headband 👌
I worked for a big client a couple years ago, was sooooo excited about the job and they ended up using all of my roughs as the finals rather than waiting for me to finish the finals! I was so gutted and to this day haven’t shown any of the work out of shame lol 🥲 sad times
