I finally found it! this creator talks about how she maintains her silk press while working out and I’ve recently seen a newer one where she did w/a sew in also
Oh sorry didn’t realize it was longer than allowed here’s the rest
@BelleRideaux 7 days is pushing it, you should be washing your scalp by that time - your hair will stink!
@BelleRideaux Worked for me. There was 100% a learning curve but it worked.
@BelleRideaux This has always worked for me pulling it back or up as tight as you can clip Down and a Nike tie up or bandanna across i also make sure my crown is tied down. The key for me as she said was DO NOT TAKE YOUR HAIR DOWN RIGHT AWAY LET IT DRY. Also, my hair is 4c natural no relaxer.
@BelleRideaux Straightened natural here. This is the method I use most often. It works ok and is the best I’ve found so far as long as you twist your knots tight enough and don’t sweat a lot.
@BelleRideaux I have extremely curly thick hair that isn’t heat trained so it doesn’t work great for me but it has protected and laid my edges. If I let it dry fully (takes forever) then it does provide a good wave for a nice ponytail 🙌🏾
@BelleRideaux I barely wear a silk press and work out even less, but I seen this product online a few month ago and saved it just in case byljonesproducts.com/products/sweat…? Ik silk press season is over, but if someone buys it lmk how it works out.
@BelleRideaux lol cute for those who don’t sweat straight from the scalp. 🥵
