I will say it’s remarkable that Mark Stone overcame a possible “career ending” injury that put him on the LTIR this season, getting Vegas salary cap relief to sign another star player, only to be miraculously healed in time for the playoffs. Kudos to him.
@BeatinTheBookie Blame Tampa they started the trend. Legal and something that the league needs to do something about
@BeatinTheBookie Easy way for the NHL to fix it. Just have the salary cap in the playoffs. Getting rid of the cap in the playoffs is ridiculous and makes no sense. It’s like they are trying to allow teams to cheat the cap
@BeatinTheBookie It may seem “unfair” because you’re losing, but every team has the ability to do this when a player is put on LTIR. Stop complaining about something that most every contender does. Not even a knights fan, but come on. This is like complaining about the refs cause you lost.
@BeatinTheBookie Yah… it’s getting old to me. Salary cap circumvention is embarrassing a little
@BeatinTheBookie They’ve played that game the last 2-3 seasons. Same with the Lightning.
@BeatinTheBookie What’s even more incredible? Everything Vegas has done is 100% LEGAL.
@BeatinTheBookie Just a reminder every team can do this
@BeatinTheBookie Yea so shocking, not like Vegas hasn’t done this before
@BeatinTheBookie Imagine thinking the VGK would shelve their best player & captain that was anchoring statistically the best line in hockey for months so they could sign a few guys that won’t even step on the ice during the playoffs. Just stop already.
